BASEBALL
St. Joseph 2,  Lakeshore 0 – Game 1
Jake Mavis tossed a one hitter as St. Joe defeated Lakeshore 2-0. Mavis struck out seven Lancers in picking up the win. Eric Engel and Dylan Lawrence scored the St. Joe runs.
Lakeshore 6,  St. Joseph 1 – Game 2
The Lancers earned a split of the doubleheader with a 6-1 win over the Bears in game two. Justin Soper picked up the win on the mound. Lakeshore broke the game open with a three run 6th inning and added two more runs in the 7th. Tyler Mojsiejenko and Christian Hanson each scored twice for the Lancers.

SOFTBALL
Lakeshore 9,  St. Joseph 7 – Game 1
Lakeshore held on for a 9-7 win over St. Joe in game one of their doubleheader. The Lancers held a 5-0 lead until the Bears scored a run in the 4th and three more in the 5th to pull to within one. The Lancers then responded with three runs in the 6th and an insurance run in the 7th to pull it out. Olivia Freehling collected a single, a double, a triple, and three RBIs for Lakeshore.
Lakeshore 19,  St. Joe 13 – Game 2 (suspended in 7th inning)
In a game that saw plenty of offense, Lakeshore was leading St. Joe 19-13 when it was suspended because of darkness in the 7th inning. The game will resume prior to the first game of the St. Joseph Invitational on May 14. Before the game was suspended, each team hammered two home runs. One home run on each side was a grand slam. Olivia Freehling collected a double, a grand slam, and six RBIs for the Lancers. MacKenzie Sanders added a single, a home run, and four RBIs for Lakeshore.

River Valley 12,  Lake Michigan Catholic 5 – Game 1
Powerd by a five run 4th inning, River Valley defeated Lake Michigan Catholic 12-5. Nicole Gibson went 3-4 at the plate and drove in four runs for the Mustangs. Kaitlin Goodenough and Rylee Haughey each scored three runs for River Valley.
River Valley 13,  Lake Michigan Catholic 4 – Game 2
River Valley completed a sweep of their BCS doubleheader with Lake Michigan Catholic with a 13-4 win over the Lakers in game two. Caroline Alden led the Mustang offense going 3-5 at the plate with four RBIs. The Lakers rallied with four runs in the 6th inning, but the comeback bid ended there.

Buchanan 8,  Comstock 1 – Game 1
Maddie Hemphill allowed just two hits over seven innings as Buchanan defeated Comstock 8-1. Ali Kyles and Morgan Lenox each had three hits for the Bucks.
Buchanan 15,  Comstock 0
A ten run 1st inning sent Buchanan to a 15-0 win in game two and a doubleheader sweep of Comstock. Sammi Luzadre allowed just one hit in five innings in picking up the win for the Bucks. At the plate, Jade Mosier collected a triple, a double, and a single as Buchanan improved to 9-2 on the season.

Parchment 15,  Berrien Springs 5 – Game 1
Parchment defeated Berrien Springs 15-5 in game one of their doubleheader. Already up 3-1, the Panthers put the game away with a seven run 2nd inning. Parchment pitching limited the Shamrocks to just four hits.
Parchment 12,  Berrien Springs 2 – Game 2
The Panthers completed a doubleheader sweep of the Shamrocks with a 12-2 win in game two. Parchment scored in each inning with the big blow being a six run 5th inning to end it.

Buchanan snapped a two match losing streak with an 8-0 win over Berrien Springs. The Bucks set the tone early, scoring five 1st half goals. Cora Schau and Jasmine Dougherty each collected two goals for Buchanan. Also scoring for the Bucks were Erica Mitchell, Jessica Lee, Kassidy Koenigshof, Jasmine Dougherty, and Kristen Clark.
