MONDAY
SOCCER
Michigan Lutheran 8, Cassopolis 0
Michigan Lutheran scored an 8-0 win over Cassopolis. Emily Witkowski and Mackenzie Zabel each scored three goals for the Titans.

Coloma 2, Bangor 1 – Shootout
They needed to go to a shootout before Coloma emerged as a 2-1 winner over Bangor in SAC play. Ashley Sipla scored the lone regulation goal for the Comets with Maggie Ring scoring for the Vikings. After two overtime periods, Paige Derrick, Tristen Howard, and Tristin Hicks scored for Coloma in the shootout to secure the win.

Buchanan 5, Watervliet 1
Buchanan defeated Watervliet 5-1 in a non-conference match-up. The Panthers struck first on a goal from Emma Krakau. The Bucks tied it up late in the 1st half when Cora Schau found the back of the net. With the match tied at one at the half, the Bucks scored four unanswered goals in the 2nd half to pull away. Erica Mitchell scored three times for Buchanan and now has a school record 31 goals on the season.

BASEBALL
Cassopolis 15, Michigan Lutheran 9 – Game 1
Cassopolis scored three runs in the 6th inning and three more in the 7th to pull out a 15-9 win over Michigan Lutheran. Cory Burnett had three RBIs in the loss for the Titans.
Cassopolis 8, Michigan Lutheran 2 – Game 2
Another strong finish led Cassopolis to an 8-2 win over Michigan Lutheran in game two. With Lutheran in front 2-1, the Rangers scored four runs in the 4th inning and three in the 5th to complete the doubleheader sweep. Cory Burnett singled and doubled in the loss for the Titans.

Watervliet 9, Galesburg-Augusta 3 – Game 1
Watervliet pulled out a 9-3 win over Galesburg-Augusta. The Panthers found themselves down early as the Rams opened the game with a three run first inning. Watervliet scored the tying and go ahead runs in the 3rd, and pulled away with four runs in the 6th. Tyler Brant collected four hits for the Panthers. On the mound, Cameron Rendo and Ryan Chisek limited Galesburg-Augusta to just four hits.
Watervliet 15, Galesburg-Augusta 0 – Game 2
Watervliet completed a doubleheader sweep of Galesburg-Augusta with a 15-1 win in game two. The Panthers started strong with a three run 1st inning and a three run 2nd. Watervliet collected 14 hits in the game. Cameron Rendo led the way with a triple and two singles. Cubby Aldrich picked up the win on the mound, allowing just two hits.

Runs came early and often for Cassopolis in a 16-0 win over Michigan Lutheran. The Rangers scored three runs in the 1st inning and five more in the 2nd to pull away early. Katie Purlee finished with two doubles and a single for the Rangers, Kaitlyn Hartsell added a triple and two singles.
Cassopolis 22, Michigan Lutheran 3 – Game 2
Cassopolis exploded for 15 runs in the 7th inning and defeated Michigan Lutheran 22-3 in game two of their doubleheader. Maile Barber homered and singled for the victorious Rangers with , Jayna Locke adding two doubles and a single. Abi Koch tripled in the loss for the Titans.
