BASEBALL
St. Joe 14, Benton Harbor 4 – Game 1
Blake Schadler, Luke Richards, Manuel Villalobos, and Kaleb Parrett each drove in two runs for the Bears. Parrett picked up the win on the mound for St. Joe, Daniel Moore suffered the loss for the Tigers.
St. Joe 19, Benton Harbor 6 – Game 2
The Bears opened the game with an eight run 1st inning. Manuel Villalobos collected three RBIs for St. Joe, Daniel Moore drove in two for Benton Harbor. Ryan Scouler got the win for St. Joe, Kentrell Pullian suffered the loss for the Tigers.

 

Michigan Lutheran 15, Heritage Christian 5 – Game 1
Andy Semenak got the win for the Titans, striking out eight over four innings. At the plate, Jordan Ramírez finished with two singles, a triple, and three RBIs. Matt Willis also drove in three runs for Lutheran.
Michigan Lutheran 6, Heritage Christian 2 – Game 2 (suspended in the 4th)

 

River Valley 2, Bridgman 1 – Game 1
The Mustangs scored once in the 1st inning and once in the 2nd. The Bees got a run back in the 6th inning but the rally fell short.
Bridgman 2, River Valley 1 – Game 2 (postponed after 4½ innings)
River Valley took a 1-0 lead in the top of the 3rd inning. It lasted until the bottom of the 4th when the Bees scored twice.

The Comets scored in the top of the 7th inning for the game’s only run. Abby Hickok had two hits in the loss for the Bucks
Coloma 10, Buchanan 6 – Game 2
The Comets opened the game with a five run 1st inning. The Bucks scored three runs in the 6th inning and three more in the 7th, but the rally fell short. Abby Hickok homered in the loss for Buchanan

 

Watervliet 15, Hartford 10 – Game 1
The Panthers scored seven of their 15 runs in the 2nd inning. Celina Klimkiewicz led Watervliet with five singles, one RBI, and three runs scored. Sabrina Klimkiewicz added four RBIs. Megan Nelson went 4-5 at the plate in the loss for the Indians.
Hartford 11, Watervliet 3 – Game 2
The Indians pushed six runs across the plate in the 3rd inning to help propel them to the win. Karly Manning picked up the win in the circle for Hartford. Jaelyne Galvan went 4-4 at the plate for the Indians. Alex Worley drove in two runs in the loss for Watervliet. Celina Klimkiewicz added an inside the park home run for the Panthers.

 

Bridgman 10, River Valley 1 – Game 1
The Bees scattered 17 hits in the win.
Bridgman 8, River Valley 4 – Game 2
The Bees rallied with three runs in the 4th inning and three more in the 5th to pull it out. Bridgman also took advantage of six Mustang errors.

Lawrence 11, Galesburg-Augusta 0 – Game 1
Val Norris picked up the shutout win in the circle, striking out 14.
Galesburg-Augusta 18, Lawrence 8 – Game 2
Galesburg-Augusta collected three home runs on the way to the win.

Alexia Tobias, Evie Clare, and Ellie Primerano each scored twice for the Titans.

Savanna Tate scored the Bees lone goal.

 

Watervliet 6, Cassopolis 3
The Panthers started strong, scoring four unanswered goals in the first half. Victoria Smith finished with four goals and an assist for Watervliet.

 

Edwardsburg 5, Niles 3
Hannah Coles scored three of the Eddies’ five goals. Grace Florkowski scored twice in the loss for the Vikings.
