TUESDAY
SOFTBALL
Lakeshore 13,  Edwardsburg 3 – Game 1
Lakeshore celebrated the dedication of their new Betty Kohn Softball Field with a 13-3 win over Edwardsburg. Taylor Simon picked up the win for the Lancers allowing two hits, four walks, and two earned runs. At the plate, Taylor Simon turned in a double, a home run, and three RBIs for Lakeshore.
Edwardsburg 17,  Lakeshore 4 – Game 2
Edwardsburg avoided a doubleheader sweep as they defeated Lakeshore 17-4 in game two. The Eddies took a 6-2 lead after two innings and then erupted for nine runs in the fourth to put it away. Taylor Simon had a 3 run home run in the loss for the Lancers.

Bridgman 8,  River Valley 4 – Game 1
A four run first inning propelled Bridgman to an 8-4 win over River Valley. The Bees scattered 17 hits against the Mustangs.
Bridgman 10,  River Valley 0 – Game 2
Bridgman scored a 10-0 win over River Valley in game two of their doubleheader. Leading 2-0, the Bees pushed four runs across the plate in the third inning on their way to sweeping the Mustangs. Bridgman scattered ten hits while limiting River Valley to just two.

Watervliet 23,  Brandywine 13 – Game 1
In a slugfest, Watervliet topped Brandywine 23-13 in game one of their doubleheader. The Panthers scattered 19 hits with Merecede Daugherty going 5-5 with 7 RBIs. Also at the plate for Watervliet, Mahkala Clay went 3-5, Aiana Rowe was 3-4 with 3 RBIs, Kara Liles and Karlee Liles were 2-4, and Lexi Keift went 2-3.
Brandywine 11,  Watervliet 9 – Game 2
A four run third inning helped propel Brandywine to an 11-9 win over Watervliet in game two. The Bobcats collected 12 hits while limiting the Panthers to six. Taylor Shafer had two of those six Watervliet hits with a double and a single.

Dowagiac 10,  Decatur 0 – Game 1
Taylor Hullet tossed a no hitter as Dowagiac scored a 10-0 win over Decatur. The Chieftains opened the game with a two run first inning. They added five runs in the fourth inning and three more in the fifth.
Dowagiac 10,  Decatur 8 – Game 2
The Chieftains completed the doubleheader sweep with a 10-8 win over the Raiders in game two. Decatur opened with a three run first inning, but Dowagiac responded with six runs over the next three innings. Kailyn Ebeling delivered a home run and three RBIs in the loss for the Raiders.

BASEBALL
Edwardsburg 4,  Berrien Springs 2 – Game 1
Edwardsburg took advantage of three Berrien Springs errors in a 4-2 win over the Shamrocks. Jake Robinson picked up the win on the mound for the Eddies. Brant Rago suffered the loss for Berrien Springs despite striking out nine and allowing just one earned run over five innings.
Edwardsburg 5,  Berrien Springs 4 – Game 2
Edwardsburg completed a doubleheader sweep of Berrien Springs with a 5-4 win over the Shamrocks in game two. Berrien Springs took an early 4-0 lead with a four run first inning. The Eddies then responded with five runs in the top of the second and hung on for the victory.

Brandywine 7,  Watervliet 1 – Game 1
In game one of their doubleheader, Brandywine defeated Watervliet 7-1. The Bobcats limited the Panthers to just two hits and put the game away with a four run 6th inning.
Brandywine 10,  Watervliet 3 – Game 2
The Bobcats completed the doubleheader sweep with a 10-3 win over the Panthers. The middle innings proved to be the difference as Brandywine scored all ten runs over the third, fourth, and fifth frames. Cameron Rendo, Ryan Chisek, Nick Brant and Alex Lefor provided the offense for Watervliet.

Lawrence 13,  White Pigeon 1
Jacob Alburtus and Hunter Coombs each collected three hits to lead Lawrence to a 13-1 win over White Pigeon. Alburtus drove in three runs while Coombs delivered two RBIs. On the mound, Larry Glista picked up the win, allowing just one hit while striking out seven in three innings. The win lifts the Tigers to 3-0.

Niles suffered from a slow start in a 2-0 loss to Three Rivers. The Wildcats scored one goal in each half. Avy James made 15 saves in goal for Niles in the loss.
