GIRLS BASKETBALL
St. Joe 68, Lakeshore 52
Trailing early, St. Joe finished the first quarter strong, taking an 18-11 lead that they would never relinquish. Symone King was dominant for the Bears, finishing with 29 points and ten rebounds. St. Joe also got 14 points from Cailynn Junk and ten from Maya Hunter. The Lancers had four players score in double figures, led by Ainsley Ashby’s 15 points. Gabriella Conway added 12 points with Olivia Trivedi and Riley Pifer each finishing with 11.
Michigan Lutheran 42, River Valley 32
The Titans rallied to pull out the win at River Valley. The Mustangs jumped out to a seven point lead after one quarter but Lutheran pulled to within three at the half. The Titans then went to outscore River Valley 29-16 in the second half to win it. Stella Lyons led Lutheran with nine points, Hailey Hauch scored a game high ten points in the loss for the Mustangs.
New Buffalo 51, Eau Claire 10
Kriscia Whitfield finished with eight points and ten rebounds in the loss for Eau Claire with Maurianna Williams and Jameria Nicoles each adding eight rebounds and an assist.
