Individual leaders for Eau Claire were Julia Kurland (3 aces, 1 assist, & 9 digs), Ali Ferry (10 digs), Kayla Ferry (3 assists, 4 digs), Lizzy Little (1 kill, 5 digs), and Emilee Demski (2 aces, 1 assist, 4 kills, 2 digs, & 2 blocks).

Despite the loss, Buchanan got 9 kills from both Josie West and Faith Carson, 6 digs from Hailey Jonatzke, 28 assists from Claire Shelton, and 3 aces from Lauren Strefling.

Individual leaders for Niles included – Jillian Bruckner (11 kills, 4 digs, 2 blocks, and 4 aces), Emma Beckman (22 assists, 7 digs, and 2 aces), Cadence Knight (18 digs, 3 assists, and 1 ace), and Marika Ruppart (5 blocks and 9 kills).

Tanner Peters scored twice for Bridgman with Zack Busboom adding one goal. Christian Kisukulu scored both goals for Michigan Lutheran.

 

Watervliet 4, Coloma 1
Derek Roggelien scored in the 26th minute to give Watervliet an early 1-0 lead. Scott Crippen then scored twice early in the second half to increase the Panther lead to 3-0. Roggelien scored one more time in the second half for Watervliet. Lucian Whitaker scored Coloma’s goal with an assist from Layne Whitaker.

 

Niles 2, Comstock 2
Dom Thorton and Cade Vota both scored for Niles. Thorton’s goal came on a throw-in from Cade Vota. Vota’s bicycle kick score came from a corner kick from Kyle Bruckner.

 

Bangor 4, Bloomingdale 1
Jesus Aguirre finished with two goals on the night for the Vikings. Rolando Munoz and Gael Ramirez each scored once for the Vikings. With the win, Bangor improves to 3-0-2 on the season.

John Burhans scored his first goal of the season in leading Hackett.

GIRLS GOLF
In a JV match between St. Joe and Lakeshore, St. Joe freshman Margaret Cox hit a hole-in-one at Blossom Trails’ Little Bud course. It came on the 110 yard 1st hole. Margaret used a Pitching Wedge to card the ace. She went on to shoot a personal best 38. It is believed to be the first ever hole-in-one in competition for the St. Joe Girls’ Golf program.
