TUESDAY’S RESULTS…

VOLLEYBALL

Watervliet 2, Lake Michigan Catholic 1 (20-25, 25-14, 15-7)
Watervliet got 9 kills, 3 aces, 6 digs, and 1 block from Samantha Dietz. Kristen Gardiner added 15 assists and 3 digs. Susanna VanLente ended with 2 kills, 5 aces, and 8 digs.

HAMILTON QUAD
Niles went 1-2 on the day. The Vikings lost to Edwardsburg 2-0, came back to defeat Spring Lake 2-0, and then fell to Hamilton 2-0. Nikki Nate turned in 12 kills, 5 blocks, 10 digs, and 5 aces for the Vikings. Grace Florkowski added 23 assists and 2 aces.

Niles 1, Edwardsburg 0
The Vikings’ Jackson Shields scored the match’s only goal with an assist from Andrew Boiling. Drew Gourlay made 20 saves in goal for Niles.

Otsego swept the St. Joe Invitational, winning the boys & girls divisions and the overall title. Hunter Zartman of Otsego won the junior/senior boys race with a time of 16:30. Hannah Funkhouser of Kalamazoo Homeschool won the junior/senior girls’ race with a time of 20:43.
