Benton Harbor 70,  Buchanan 59
Benton Harbor escaped with a 70-59 win over Buchanan to capture their second straight District Championship. The Bucks came from behind to take a two point lead only to see the Tigers finish the game on a 13-0 run. Kysre Gondrezick led Benton Harbor with a game high 32 points. Buchanan got 24 points from Brooke Wesner. The Tigers move on to face Sturgis Tuesday in Hopkins in the Regional Semifinals.

CLASS A
Kalamazoo Central 65,  St. Joe 51
St. Joe fell to Kalamazoo Central 65-51. The Bears were able to cut the Central lead to six points but could get no closer as the Maroon Giants won the Class A District Championship. Sadia Johnson led KC with 24 points. St. Joe’s Shelby Madison had a game high 26 points. St. Joe finishes the season at 15-8. Central will go on to play Battle Creek Lakeview Tuesday in the Regional Semifinals.

CLASS C
Brandywine 71,  New Buffalo 38
Brandywine led from start to finish in a 71-38 win over New Buffalo to capture their seventh Class C District Crown. The Bobcats opened the game outscoring the Bison 22-5 in the first quarter. Michaela Hartline netted 17 points to lead Brandywine. Ashli Drewes led New Buffalo with 13 points. The Bobcats will take on Schoolcraft Tuesday in the Regional Semifinals.

CLASS D
Michigan Lutheran 54,  Lake Michigan Catholic 23
Michigan Lutheran ran off with a 54-23 win over Lake Michigan Catholic to capture the Class D District title. The Titans jumped out to a 16-6 lead after the first quarter and steadily pulled away from there. Hailey Maas led Lutheran with a game high 16 points. Catholic was paced by Bridget Hoffman who finished with ten points. The Titans advance to take on Athens in the Regional Semifinals.
