15 year old Maurissa LaGrow has organized a 5k Color Run/Walk for tomorrow (Saturday) morning in Coloma. Registration starts at 8:00 at the Coloma H.S. football field. Proceeds benefit the Arthritis Foundation, Berrien County Cancer Service, and Coloma Athletics.
Maurissa was diagnosed with arthritis when she was two years old. She joined us on Morning Sportsbeat Friday to talk about the event and her motivation to organize it. Hopefully, after hearing her story, you will start your weekend off with this family fun event.
