Calvin Johnson To Skip Pro Bowl

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson will not play in this year’s Pro Bowl because of his injured right ankle.

Johnson finished the season with 71 receptions for 1,077 yards and eight touchdowns and was selected to his fifth straight Pro Bowl.
The NFL announced yesterday that Johnson will be replaced by New York Giants rookie receiver Odell Beckham junior.  Safety Glover Quinn and defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh (en-DOM-uh-kon Soo) will represent Detroit at the Pro Bowl, which will be held in Arizona later this month.
