Friday afternoon, Buchanan defeated Gladstone 6-4 in the Division 3 Baseball State Semifinals. The Bucks advance to face Jackson Lumen Christi Saturday afternoon at 2:30 for the State Championship live on Sports Radio 1400 WSJM and at www.wsjmsports.com.
Athletic Director Fred Smith informs Sports Radio 1400 that the team will be leaving town at 9:30 Saturday morning with a police escort. Supporters are encouraged to come downtown to send them off “Bucktown style”.
There will be a community reception in the gymnasium when they return Saturday night between 7:00 & 8:00 PM.
