This year’s Associated Press boys’ high school basketball Division 4 All-State honors…

 

FIRST TEAM
Da’Jion Humphrey, Southfield Christian, Sr. (Player of the Year)
After leading his team to a state title and earning first-team honors a year ago, Humphrey lived up to the expectations this year by bringing home Player of the Year accolades. The 6-foot-4 guard led Southfield Christian to a 17-4 record and No. 1 ranking this year. He piled up 20.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.2 steals per game. The Holy Cross commit earned MIAC MVP honors.

COACH OF THE YEAR
Clennie Brundidge, Southfield Christian
Brundidge took over the powerful Southfield Christian program from Josh Baker and didn’t miss a beat. He kept the defending state champs at the top of their game, posting a 17-4 record and reaching the district final before the season was halted. His team came within a buzzer beater of knocking off River Rouge, the No. 1-ranked team in Division 1.
