BH’s Kysre Gondrezick Receiving National Recognition

Benton Harbor’s Kysre Gondrezick, a former WSJM Sports Student Athlete of the Year, has been named to the midseason watch list for the 2021 Naismith Trophy for Women’s Player of the Year.

Kysre leads West Virginia in scoring, with a total of 344 points and an average of 21.5 points per game. Earlier this season she scored the 1,000th point in her NCAA career. So far this year, she has scored 20 or more points 11 times.

Kysre is one of just 30 Division 1 nominees for the award.
