Carlos Johnson of Benton Harbor High School Basketball is the WSJM Sports Berrien County Student Athlete of the Week for the week of January 6, 2019.
In the Tigers’ win over St. Joe, Carlos turned in 22 points, ten rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two blocked shots. Then in a win over Saginaw, he finished with 39 points (including 20 in the 3rd quarter), 14 rebounds, four assists, two steals, and three blocked shots.
Carlos is also involved with the Boys and Girls Club. In the classroom, he carries a 3.6 grade point average.
Carlos is the son of Carlos Johnson and Racheal Smith of Benton Harbor.
