Benton Harbor Falls In The Boys’ Bball State Quarterfinals

Catholic Central dominated play in the third quarter on their way to topping the Tigers.

Benton Harbor led by three at the half, but the Cougars caught fire from the outside in the third, and outscored Benton Harbor 29-10 in the frame to start pulling away. Catholic Central then went on to build a 21 point lead. Benton Harbor pulled to within six late in the fourth quarter, but the comeback bid fell short.

Kentrell Pullian poured in 26 points in the loss for the Tigers, Chris Moore added 13. With the defeat, Benton Harbor ends the season at 17-3.

The win lifts Catholic Central to 18-0 and sends them to Thursday afternoon’s state semifinals.
