Benton Harbor 90, Ferndale 81
Benton Harbor held on for a 90-81 victory over Ferndale at the Floyd Mayweather Classic in Grand Rapids Saturday.
Leading by six at the half, the Tigers were able to open a 17 point advantage in the third quarter. The Eagles were able to pull to within six in the fourth quarter, but that’s as close as they got.
Carlos Johnson led Benton Harbor with 34 points. Ferndale got a game high 35 points from Sudi McElroy. With the win, the Tigers improve to 14-0 on the season. Ferndale falls to 5-6.
