SOCCER
St. Joe 6, Lakeview 0
The Bears got two goals and an assist from Jack Pender and two goals from Jacob Scouler. Lars Razor added a goal and an assist with Nick Strickler also finding the net for St. Joe. Seth Walters assisted on two of St. Joe’s goals. The Bears improve to 2-0 on the season.

 

Gull Lake 3, Lakeshore 0
Roni Sylemani scored twice on penalty kick for Gull Lake with Avery Zeigler scoring once.

 

Howardsville Christian 2, Michigan Lutheran 1
Christian Kisukulu scored the Titans lone goal, with an assist from Shane Elliot. Wesley Franzel scored both goals for Howardsville Christian. Adam Rosenbaum finished with nine saves in goal for Lutheran.

 

Three Rivers 3, Coloma 0
The Comet defense held strong despite the pressure applied by the Wildcats, but in the 27th minute, Kayden Salinas scored on a breakaway to give Three Rivers a 1-0 halftime lead. The Wildcats went on to add two more goals in the second half. Wes Seabury had 15 saves in goal for Coloma.

 

Paw Paw 4, Niles 2
Cade Vota scored both goals for Niles with assists from Dohm Thorton.

 

Hartford 4, Cassopolis 0
Caiden Smith led the Indians with two goals. Aaron Robles and Alan Gonzalez also found the net for Hartford. Kevin Parra added two assists in the win. Kaiden Johnson secured the victory with six saves in goal.

Warren Fessenden scored for Edwardsburg with an assist from Bodi Wegner.
