Levi Wilkens of Coloma High School Football is the WSJM Sports 
Berrien County Student Athlete of the Week for the week of October 1, 2017. In the Comets’ win over Schoolcraft, Levi came away with two interceptions, returning one of them 41 yards for a touchdown. He also forced a fumble on defense. On the offensive side of the ball, he rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown, and caught two passes for 40 yards. On the season, he has rushed for 483 yards and five touchdowns, and has 258 receiving yards and two more touchdowns.
Levi is also a member of the Coloma Basketball and Track teams. In the classroom, he carries a 3.11 grade point average.
Levi is the son of Christina Evans of Coloma.
Other finalists for the week were Ashton Sheline of Berrien Springs Cross Country and Sarah Jackemeyer of Michigan Lutheran Volleyball.
