Ahmeir Kyle and Will Page of St. Joseph High School Tennis are the WSJM Sports Berrien County Co-Student Athletes of the Week for the week of October 9, 2016.
Ahmei
r won the individual Division 3 State Championship at #2 Singles. She became possibly the first girl to win a state title in boys’ tennis.
Will won the individual Division 3 State Championship at #3 Singles. The state title caps a perfect 26-0 season for Will.
Ahmeir is the daughter of Donnel and Sinceria Kyle of St. Joseph.
Will is the son of Renee Abbott of St. Joseph.
Other finalists for the week were Deryk Atkins of St. Joe Football, Cameron Rendo of Watervliet Football, and Tyler Brant of Watervliet Football.
