Lindsay Marohn of St. Joseph High School Swimming is the WSJM Sports Berrien 
County Student Athlete of the Week for the week of September 11, 2016. In the Bears’ meet against Bridgman, Lindsay won the 200 Meter Freestyle with a time of 2:03.83 and the 100 Meter Backstroke with a time of 1:01.74. Her times in both events are Division 3 state qualifying performances.
Lindsay is also a member of the St. Joe Key Club and Orchestra. In the classroom, she carries a 4.0 grade point average.
Other finalists for the week were Jeremy Burrell of Benton Harbor Football, Darren Shearer of Buchanan Football, Julian Sheriff of Bridgman Football, and Mercede Daugherty of Watervliet Volleyball.
Lindsay is the daughter of Jim and Amy Marohn of St. Joseph.
