NCAA Football – A week before opener, Harbaugh still quiet on QB competition
Don’t expect any announcement on Michigan’s starting quarterback before next week. When asked about that competition Thursday, coach Jim Harbaugh said Utah and Michigan _ who play each other next Thursday _ will exchange depth charts Monday. Iowa transfer Jake Rudock and junior Shane Morris are the presumptive favorites to start at quarterback for the Wolverines, but Harbaugh isn’t tipping his hand. Harbaugh spoke to reporters Thursday, ending a three-week stretch in which Michigan players and coaches made hardly any public appearances as they prepared for the season. The opener is now a week away, and the matchup between the Wolverines and Utes figures to be one of the most anticipated games of the college football season’s first week.

Who is it?”’ Harbaugh said his wife Sarah was “very, very impressed” that Jordan called him.
